This feels absolutely true to me. I was sent Ezra Klein‘s piece when it first came out by someone wanting to calm me down. Someone who is smart and a critical thinker who I love dearly. Interesting thing, it did calm me down, but it did not feel “right“. Being calm isn’t the answer right now, being active and fighting with everything we can feels not just right but absolutely necessary. But I’m not sure how one gets those messages you bring up to his base. It seems to me his base won and then went to sleep.
They—the fascists—have already told us, shown us, exactly how we win this:
We have to "flood the zone"
We have to use a lot of repetition and simple slogans
We have to divide and conquer
I have been writing a good bit since before the inauguration; a complete strategy for fighting back. If you really want to beat the fascists, I encourage you to check it out. It's going to be a long read to go through it all, but considering the fact that the Democratic Party currently seems to have no strategy whatsoever, I think it's all we have for now.

Another great and motivating piece Lukium! You are 💯% right we don't need complacency and the MSM BS trying to rationalize tRump's actions. It's very simple They are trying (and currently succeeding) to destroy democracy in America, and destroy the middle class in America so they can rebuild their authoritarian fascist regime.
I see all these court casses being filed and I'm hopeful they are filing them, and winning them, but so far I've seen no change in what DOGE is doing...that tells me the rulings by the judges are a joke to them...something they can wipe their butts with! This is a constitutional crisis! When the executive branch of the government refuses to obey rulings from the judicial branch and the Congress is silenced and owned by the executive branch the US is done.
We need radical movements to stop them!!!!
But then I fear martial law. That will be a mess but maybe where we are headed. Feels like the frog has been put in the pot, and the heat turned on but it's just now getting a bit uncomfortable for the frog...it'll boil soon...when the pain gets great enough we change.
