Well written my friend .

TRUMP HAS COMMITTED TREASON CALLING THE MILITARY TO ATTACK ITS OWN CITIZENS.

A U.S. President can be removed from office for committing treason through impeachment, which involves the House of Representatives bringing charges and the Senate holding a trial.

Treason is a serious offense, defined by the Constitution as levying war against the United States or adhering to its enemies by giving them aid and comfort.

While no U.S. president has ever been impeached or convicted of treason, the Constitution explicitly names it as a grounds for impeachment, alongside bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors…and let’s face it, they have all accepted bribes and have committed high crimes and mesdemenors.

This might be the time for impeachment to finally work—the worst President ever deserves the first successful impeachment. It would be historic.

As much as I agree that Trump deserves to be impeached now more than ever, there is 0% chance it would work at this point. Here's the super short version of the logic why it won't work:

They (GOP/Trump enablers) are too deep in now to stop. If they impeach Trump today and this house of cards collapses, there's a ton of Republicans that will need to answer for the stuff they enabled, criminally. From disappearing immigrants and citizens, to acts of violence and endangerment by federal agents, to the pay to play stuff with Adams in NYC where they tried to get his support by floating dropping the case against him, etc. The list is massive now. I was warning about this months ago, there was a Rubicon that once crossed they (GOP) could never go back. That line was crossed long ago (around the time the first masked thugs showed up). So, there is absolutely no chance that Trump gets impeached at this point unless we have a clear super majority on our side, and we're nowhere close to it. So, any talk of impeachment is wasted effort better spent elsewhere.

Yes, I agree it would take some major changes—an election or release of the E files—and I keep hoping. The trouble is that Vance would be in charge and who knows what idiocy that would bring. And of course that also leaves Mike second in line. Oh for the old GOP of Dwight Eisenhower!

Exactly. I don’t see a solution at the end of the Impeachment Path. Even if you impeached Johnson, then it goes to the band of idiots in the cabinet… Can you imagine Bessent as president?

Perhaps he already is—a shadow President. Someone is certainly behind all this chaos.

This is the way to go After watching for 7months it's time for WE the People to take charge

Government Shutdown: Getting Angry And Demanding 3 Things 202.224.3121

Over at American Manifesto Lukium has called on WE the People to shutdown the government unless 3 demands are met So call your senator and congressman/woman to make this happen or you will shut them down so that they won’t be able to run for dog catcher

“Do not fund the government unless these three demands are met: release the Epstein files, end the tariff lie, and prohibit the use of force against Americans. I know the regime will never concede, and that is the point—to force them to defend why, until their collapse. If you cave, your career ends. We will fund your primary challengers, we will canvas, we will donate, and we will make sure you are finished.”

I would love to write my representatives. But I live in a red state with all gop reps and senators. What good will it do to write them? I also agree the Dems should shut down the government, can’t believe they didn’t do it the first time!

Great. Bitch about them but capitulate anyway. We'll never win like this.

Senator Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada joined Republicans in voting for a continuing resolution that passed the Senate on Tuesday night, preventing a government shutdown hours before the deadline. She described the decision as essential to shield Nevadans from economic fallout, while criticizing President Trump and Republicans for contributing to high costs and a health care crisis. Cortez Masto urged bipartisan efforts to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies, set to expire and potentially increase premiums by up to 75% in Nevada, marking her second such cross-aisle vote this year.

Wait, I think this might be off. I’m pretty sure the Shutdown is still happening. Yes, she and Fetterman and King have voted for the CR, but that’s not enough for it to pass. Pretty sure the WH has already sent out orders to initiate shutdown procedures.

Wonderful article. Great ideas. Have you sent this to Schumer and Jeffries? Problem though. Don't you expect that the GOP will just change the rules in the Senate and pass the budget without any democratic support? Who's going to stop them?

I'm not 100% they could get full support for that change due fear of what that might mean if Dems get back in power. Bottom line: we can't decide whether to do the right thing based on whether the fascists might try a workaround. Let them, and let us control the narrative when they try. On sending it to Dem leadership, for what? They're already asking for the dumbest things to go along with funding. No chance this plan works unless we all put pressure on all elected Dems to do it.

I agree. The signs and the calls for fighting back were made a long time ago. Americans wake up and fight this fascism, corruption and destruction of world order. Watching in vain from Australia as we pursue the Aukus myth (nuclear powered American submarines) and watch fanatical right issues and protests raise its ugly head, possibly following what is happening in England.

And try to ignore them and the latest unchecked atrocity. Huh? Isn’t that surrender? No. Get busy organizing a US. Nobody will stop them for us. Surprise is a tactic of the enemy. You can prepare for potential surprises in store. You can organize a force. We can. Shock divides.

Certainly. Divided individuals who experience each change with visceral outrage that passes with the morning’s coffee, cannot respond but by becoming mute and unfeeling.

If there is to be a reasonable and consistent response, it comes from a group with a consistent identity.

Make an us first and then we can respond to them.

That is in part of the main goals of the American Manifesto: to unite people with the same core ideas of what we should strive for, to clarify those ideas, and to plan how to bring about such a society.
