The Nazi defendants testified that they had no knowledge of the Holocaust, even tho several reports detailing the previous day's activities would hit their desks every single day. What is even wilder is the extent to which everyone sees this stuff happening today compared to Nazi Germany. There's no room for denial today… not just for government officials but the public itself. Today, we look back with a certain level of contempt at the number of countries that refused Jews during WW2 given what was happening in Germany, but at least there was fog of war.
