Exactly. That’s what makes it even more insidious in my opinion. It’s not even like he wholesale fired ALL IGs. He targeted specific ones. Unfortunately, nobody in the media with access to the kind of information needed for a good analysis has looked into which ones were kept and which ones were fired to look for a pattern. My guess, they fired the ones that could be expected to remain honest and not capitulate.
