This is so far beyond the pale. It is a recipe for a dystopian future, usually reserved for the movies. But this is the USA, and this regime is tearing us to shreds, while most Americans go on with their lives as if nothing has changed, when in fact, everything is changing right under our noses. When they finally awaken, our country will already be have been destroyed and life as we knew it will be gone. We are the only ones who can at least attempt to save ourselves, but that’s only if we all resist this regime. Just be aware that our elected officials aren’t going to step up, as they should.
Your bewilderment by most people just going on with their lives is also the thing that really blows my mind; even more so than the people essentially trying to destroy the US.
What kills me is “they” are our own friends and family, many of whom should know better! This is what happened in Germany and so many indicators are there that should we continue along this path of inaction, things here are going to get a whole lot worse for us, including, and I hate to say it, war. And we will not be able to defend ourselves because T is too busy dismantling & destroying all of our institutions that were put in place to protect us. Additionally, thanks to Elon’s fake DOGE, our personal information has been gleefully handed over to Putin. All of this keeps me up at night, and ruins my days. All of this destruction is for $ & power, to heck with the people.
I’m so discouraged today. I suppose I’ll eventually be on their list along with a lot of people I know. Words are the only way I can really fight right now. I won’t be stopping. Nor will I take down our flags or our hands off poster. Are there still going to be demonstrations tomorrow? I’ve seen almost nothing🤷♀️
