Yeah, it's pretty wild. I went out to dinner with my wife and in-laws yesterday, and it felt really surreal. There's a part of me that's not sure if things will get quite as bad as it seems like they're already set to get (in terms of it being guaranteed that once the current pre-war oil supply is used up and we hit the point where the buffer is gone) while there's another part which based on available information feels very confident about it. I'm not even sure how to explain the feeling, but being out and seeing so many folks acting as everything is normal was a very strange experience.
I’ve had the same feeling, like everyone is just sleepwalking through everything. I have a hard time being optimistic about the war ending in time to avoid complete disaster, mainly because of the stupidity and incompetence of the admin and their egos can’t stand being proven wrong.
What really baffles me is that this regime doesn't seem to have gathered a clue about what kind of war Iran is really fighting. Missiles & bombs are really a facade. If they want to cripple us, they are entirely capable of doing it thru cyberwar. Who in the regime is even qualified to address this? It ain't gonna be Elon.
As for the other piece of the puzzle, just remember that "From the river to the sea" is also Bibi's motto.
They just hacked Patel for one. And I find it hard to believe they haven't hacked Mr. Signalgate too. More importantly, I think Iran's most dangerous weapon is the fact that they keep telling the truth (as far as we can see) while Trump keeps lying. They said they'd shut down the Strait of Hormuz if we attacked. They did. They said they'd attack energy infrastructure if theirs was attacked, they followed through. And one of the things they've said is that they've been using older munitions (which we've been spending our most expensive interceptors against). If their record of following through continues, there's a high chance that a ground incursion will prove disastrous for our troops.
