So I shouldn’t leave or delete my Facebook & Instagram account but use them as a platform for getting pro-democracy information & articles out in places those folks would not see otherwise ?
Even if you don't want to deal with toxic people, don't. Just follow the people still in those platforms who are still pushing pro-democracy messaging, and like/share their content to help the algorithm push their messages in front of more people.
Or even just drop pro-democracy articles into the platforms, like mine 😀.
And feel free to drop your own messages too saying that democracy still matters. Just ignore the comments. People who agree will push your message further and those inclined, like me, will deal with the trolls.
The most important thing is for our message to gain prevalence again, and to eventually drown the fascists' voice out, so that the "normies" don't get radicalized by fascist propaganda and we can return to a society not on the brink of self-destruction. We can figure out how to solve deeper societal problems once the fascist fire has been put out.

That's all it takes. If we could get the millions that left the other platforms to go back and do exactly just that, we would put a massive dent on the fascist regime's ability to gain/maintain support.
I would even dare say we might have won the last election had more of us kept pushing the pro-democracy message harder.

I will do this daily but not read any comments, the comments are insane & mentally challenging. Damn this fascist regime!
