Stop Letting Fascists Control the Narrative
Democrats keep losing the information war. It’s time to take back public opinion before it’s too late.
"Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it, nothing can succeed."
— Abraham Lincoln
Before we begin, let’s be clear about something: I will not refer to the Republican Party as "the GOP" in this article. I will refer to it as what it is: the fascist party.
Because messaging matters. Because repetition works. Because the fascist party has spent decades shaping the way people think and speak about politics, while Democrats have let them run unchecked.
And now, the United States is on the verge of falling to a full-fledged fascist regime because Democrats failed to control the narrative.
If you want to know why fascists keep winning public opinion, why millions of Americans are voting for their own oppression, why we are losing the information war, look no further than this:
Democrats do not talk directly to the people who are being propagandized against them.
They let Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, right-wing radio, and Facebook conspiracy groups and YouTube channels flood tens of millions of Americans with unopposed disinformation—then they act confused when those same Americans believe Democrats are demons who want to destroy the country.
Why wouldn’t they believe that?
If the only voices they ever hear are fascist ones, if they are never exposed to a direct counter-message, if no one cuts through the propaganda fog to speak to them in words they understand, then why on earth would they suddenly wake up one day and realize they’ve been lied to?
The fascist party talks to these people every single day. Democrats? They don’t even try.
The Reality Democrats Failed to Sell
If you strip away all the noise, the distractions, and the propaganda, the truth is this: Trump should have lost.
Kamala Harris, even as VP, was running on the most pro-working-class administration since FDR. The economy was recovering, wages were rising, and the government was actually doing things to make people’s lives better. But instead of running on those successes and making the fascist party answer for their decades of failure, Democrats let Trump define the election.
Let’s look at the facts:
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) was more pro-union than at any time since the New Deal, crushing employer union-busting tactics and paving the way for historic labor victories.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice took on monopolies like never before, finally enforcing antitrust laws to rein in corporate power.
The CHIPS Act and Infrastructure Bill were real, tangible investments in American manufacturing and working-class jobs, countering decades of offshoring.
Healthcare policies expanded access, capping insulin at $35 and reducing prescription drug prices.
By every objective measure, Democrats fought for workers.
But that didn’t matter.
They assumed that results would speak for themselves. They assumed that voters would do the research, sift through policy documents, and arrive at a rational conclusion.
Trump, on the other hand, understood something far more powerful: people don’t vote based on policy details—they vote based on narrative.
His campaign was simple: You are being screwed, and I am your revenge.
He told voters the system was rigged against them (it is), but instead of blaming corporate billionaires and the politicians who serve them, he blamed immigrants, minorities, and Democrats.
And it worked. Again.
Because the fascist party understands that controlling public sentiment is more important than governing well. Democrats, meanwhile, keep thinking that good policy will sell itself.
This isn’t just a natural consequence of partisan politics. It’s the result of a deliberate, decades-long campaign to monopolize the national conversation. Here’s how they did it—and how they keep winning public sentiment despite failing the people they claim to represent.
Why the Fascist Party Controls Public Opinion
The fascist party doesn’t just control public opinion by accident. They built an entire propaganda machine designed to manufacture reality. From Fox News to talk radio, Facebook groups to YouTube channels, they have spent decades cultivating a self-sustaining echo chamber—one where truth is irrelevant, loyalty is demanded, and Democrats are not political opponents but existential threats.
Meanwhile, Democrats seem to think facts will break through the noise on their own. They won’t. We will not defeat them unless we understand exactly how the fascist party has taken control of the public consciousness:
1. A Lie Repeated with Conviction Will Always Beat an Unspoken Truth
The fascist party understands something fundamental about human psychology: repetition creates reality.
They say: “The radical left is destroying America!”
They say: “Democrats hate you and want to replace you with immigrants!”
They say: “Trump is a victim of political persecution!”
And they say it every single day.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a lie. What matters is it’s being said at all.
Meanwhile, Democrats assume the truth will just magically break through the noise. That voters will somehow do the homework, dig through sources, and reach the right conclusion on their own.
They won’t. They never will. People believe what they hear most often.
If one side is saying something loudly, frequently, and with conviction, and the other side is whispering the truth in the corner, guess which side wins?
2. The Fascist Party Gives Its Base an Enemy—Democrats Give a Lecture
The fascist party doesn’t waste time with nuance. They tell their base who to hate.
Immigrants are stealing your jobs.
LGBTQ people are corrupting your kids.
Democrats are rigging elections.
All lies. But simple, repeatable, emotionally charged lies.
And what do Democrats say?
“The economic pressures facing middle-class Americans are complex and require nuanced policy discussions.”
“While we acknowledge concerns about border security, we must also consider human rights implications.”
“We should have a bipartisan discussion about election security.”
Are you kidding me?
While Democrats are offering wordy, timid, focus-grouped statements, the fascist party is telling its base that the Democrats are literal demons plotting their downfall.
And then Democrats wonder why their policies—which actually help these people—aren’t resonating.
3. The Fascist Party Talks to Its Voters—Democrats Ignore Them
The fascist party bombards its base with messaging every hour of every day.
They have an entire media ecosystem—Fox News, right-wing radio, social media propaganda networks—all designed to feed their base the same narrative over and over again.
And what’s the Democratic strategy for breaking through this echo chamber?
Nothing. They don’t even try.
They don’t speak directly to these people. They don’t show up where these people are. They don’t frame their message in ways that resonate with them.
Instead, they hope that eventually these voters will just “see the light” on their own.
How? How is that supposed to happen?
If the only voices someone hears are fascist voices, why would they ever question their reality?
The fascist party has built a full-scale, relentless brainwashing operation. And Democrats’ response is to pretend it doesn’t exist.
This is why we are losing. This is why a fascist regime is on the verge of consolidating power.
Because Democrats let the enemy dominate the battlefield of public opinion without a fight.

Reclaiming Public Sentiment—Before It’s Too Late
We are past the point of worrying about elections.
Trump is already setting up a fascist regime. The only way to stop it from fully consolidating power is to break its hold over public sentiment before it’s too late.
Here’s how:
1. Talk to the Fascist Party’s Base—Cut Through the Propaganda Fog
Stop ignoring these voters. Show up on their platforms. Speak in their language.
Don’t try to make them Democrats. Just plant the seed of doubt in their minds about the regime they voted for.
The fascist party’s grip on its base is strong, but it’s not unbreakable. Chip away at it.
2. Name the Enemy—And Say It Over and Over Again
Call the fascist party what it is: a fascist party.
Never say “GOP” again. Call them what they are. Make it stick.
Language shapes reality. Start shaping it in our favor.
3. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat
The fascist party wins public opinion by sheer force of repetition. We need to do the same.
Stop explaining. Stop hedging. Stop asking rhetorical questions. Start declaring.
If we don’t make our message the dominant one, theirs will be.
Messaging Matters—And Here’s the Proof
Did you notice how, throughout this entire article, I never once called them the "GOP"?
Did you notice how I repeated “fascist party” again and again?
Doesn’t it feel different?
Doesn’t it make them seem worse? More sinister? More dangerous?
That’s the power of messaging. That’s the power of repetition.
Now imagine if every Democrat, every media figure, every public commentator did the same.
Imagine if we took control of the language the same way the fascist party has for decades.
Imagine if we made them play defense for once.
Stop letting them dictate the terms of the fight. Stop assuming people will find the truth on their own. Start speaking plainly, directly, and without fear. Public sentiment is the battlefield—and it’s time we fought to win.
As Lincoln said about public sentiment, "without it, nothing can succeed."
Very well then— take it away from the fascist party, and watch their movement rot from the inside out.
Join the Fight, Amplify the Truth

We need to get rid of the old ones standing in the way of progress. Some like Bernie and Elizabeth now what they’re talking about. Chuck Schumer needs to go. Anyone too timid to speak up needs to go. We don’t have time to slowly change the Democratic Party. We need to kick into high gear NOW. Let’s get our shit together. This is a clear blueprint of what needs to be done. Let’s start doing it immediately.
Both Goebbels & Hitler knew how well the technique of repetition worked. Goebbels even knew when to stop, which is just as valuable. We need to not keep harping on the same thing all the time, but to find diverse & unnoticed devastations to the country.
