Pretty confident I was going to be aware of enough evidence for the presumed conclusion to read this version, so I did. I did *not* expect the 1945 army document to be so reasonably accurate. I was just curious to see what language was used. I really, really did not expect to find it so compelling to read (mainly after the first page). What a document. Damn.
When I came by the document, what I felt was something I had never felt before, a dark foreshadowing I typically experience watching fictional movies but with the real weight of reality. It made everything happening today even more real in a way I thought had already reached its limit.
I know what you mean. The relative completeness of it really strikes me. Not historical completeness obviously, but that here we are 80 years later on the spot, and this little pamphlet still hits all the critical things they need to know in this moment, just add it was intended to.
This is going acc to the course book of Hitler's take over after his election to be Chancen 1933. Do you think a military coup will end this?? What else?
If I had to guess, the move most likely to succeed at stopping the regime right now would be a state-sponsored act of peaceful disobedience/disruption. The most important key here is "state-sponsored."
What does that look like exactly?
Right now, that would mean Oregon activating their own National Guard, and order them, alongside their own state law-enforcement, to stand, peacefully, without opening fire, in the way of every member of the US military deployed into Oregon, with the specific order to act as an immovable wall that prevents any mobilization/activity of the U.S. Military in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. They should have blaring megaphones playing "You are in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act and of your oath to the U.S. Constitution. You have forfeited your legitimacy." They should be ordered to stand their ground and act only defensively, and to ensure that the U.S. military is unable to perform any actions whatsoever.
Again, this should be done by the STATE, not by individuals or activists.
Yes, this would be a potentially dangerous action given that we're dealing with a fascist regime. But one of 4 things will inevitably have to happen:
- The U.S. Military will be called off (the most likely), and the regime will have lost ALL their power to use the military because then every other state will be able to do the exact same thing in the future.
- The U.S. Military will be ordered to fire upon the State's National Guard/Law Enforcement, but will refuse the order. This is the second most likely scenario, and in this case the regime will also lose ALL ability to illegally use the military in the future, and this will spell the end of the regime.
- The same as above, but the U.S. Military not only refuses to open fire, but it immediately turns to remove the regime once they receive an order by POTUS to violate their own oaths and to mindlessly kill Americans in total violation of the law and their oath.
- The U.S. Military follows the order and fires. This would trigger a second American Revolution.
Again, this must be done by the STATE. The key is to use the legitimacy of the state, in their right to defend its own sovereignty in accordance with the principles of Federalism. This should not be handed to the courts to handle as the courts have been captured (SCOTUS). States must not give SCOTUS the opportunity to "rubberstamp" the fascist use of the military: they will, if not all at once, a bit at a time, with more and more forcefulness.
Anything other than the plan above is the appeasement of a fascist, and history has taught us over and over again that nothing good comes out of appeasing a fascist.

Isn't it eerily prescient and specific?
