It’s just one person, fighting like hell to expose the truth and give you the weapons to push back.
If you value this work—if you want this movement to keep growing, keep calling out fascism without fear, and keep fighting for the future we deserve—then I need your support.

🔴 UPDATE: April 5, 2025
5 Million Americans Take to the Streets—The Nation Unites to Reject Trump’s Authoritarian Rule
Today wasn’t just a protest—it was a national uprising. As many as 5 million Americans, based on estimates still coming in, marched in more than 1,200 cities in the largest single-day demonstration since Donald Trump returned to power. They came from every state. Every background. Every political persuasion. What united them? One message: Hands off our democracy.
From the steps of Congress to retirement communities deep in Trump country, the message was unmistakable: Trump and his billionaire enablers like Elon Musk have gone too far. They're trying to gut Social Security, slash healthcare, purge government workers, and consolidate power into the hands of a corporate elite. But today, America pushed back.
Key Developments:
As many as 5 million protesters took to the streets nationwide, with over 1,200 demonstrations organized across all 50 states to demand an end to the Trump regime’s authoritarian agenda.
Sources: Axios, AP NewsProtests erupted in DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Raleigh, and hundreds of smaller cities, where crowds massively outpaced RSVP estimates. In Raleigh, 2,000 RSVPs turned into a crowd of 45,000.
Sources: AxiosIn The Villages, Florida, a Republican stronghold, nearly 2,000 retirees marched against Trump and Musk—a stunning defection from his political base.
Sources: NewsweekProtests featured slogans like “Hands Off Our Democracy,” “Hands Off Our Social Security,” and “ELON DON’T BE A DOGE BAG”—with strong showings even in rain-soaked cities.
Sources: AP NewsDemonstrators spanned political identities, from former Reagan Republicans to lifelong independents and Democratic organizers—united in outrage at Trump’s war on democracy, workers, and basic rights.

The Real Story: Who Wins and Who Pays the Price?
Trump and Musk are looting the country for the robber barons, and their crackdown on federal agencies, social programs, and civil rights is just the beginning. They thought Americans would be too divided or too scared to fight back. Instead, they awoke something powerful. From left to right, rural to urban, young to old—millions are rising to stop a dictatorship in real time.
🔍 Why This Matters:
This wasn’t just a liberal protest. It was a nationwide act of defiance from everyday Americans across the spectrum. People who normally disagree on everything stood shoulder to shoulder to say: enough. Trump’s regime is not just unpopular—it’s unacceptable. And now the whole country knows it.
🚨 The Bottom Line:
Trump thought no one would stop him. That he could fire workers, destroy the government, and hand the country to Musk and the robber barons. But millions just proved otherwise. This was a warning shot. The people are awake.

Because silence is surrender. We never surrender. We are #TheRelentless.
This is excellent. There were Hands Off protests all over Maine this AM, even in small towns. I was in Blue Hill. :)
The story behind the story, Today was a tremendous success in any manner of determination or description: size, geography, enthusiasm, sign cleverness, age range, etc. How did it happen? How did it come about? Of course, there was Indivisible and "Hands Off," but there was more. Much more + Who were some of the people that have been working, fighting, in one manner or another, to bring about today--and all the days to follow, needed to win this war against Trump/Musk et al and save our democracy. With the thousands [million+?] of heroic protestors out with signs (or just standing in solidarity) today, this April 5th (actually any and all days of protesting Trump/Musk, Tesla or any other issue), here's an updated partial list of those fighting back every day [as of 4-5--25 BTW I've misplaced several suggested names, so if you don't see yours.pls try again.) I'm also adding courageous law firms who haven't caved. Besides upstanding lawyers (e.g. Brenna Trout Frey, and law-abiding honorable (present and former) judges (including James Boasberg, chief judge, D.C.
