I’ve been wrestling with the conviction to use my visual communication skills to fight fascism. My personal belief as someone who went from an alt right conservative kid, to the opposite, education and exposure to alternative views is what can truly make a difference in changing these people’s minds. My partner disagrees and views it as pointless. Fascists will be fascists….
I disagree, but I lack a network of like minded folks to discuss this with. Is education directed at the lukewarm conservatives worthwhile?
I think that education is easily the most important and invaluable thing you can offer anyone. Will you convince all of them? Certainly not, certainly not by yourself. But if you can change even a single mind, you'll have done quite a thing, because if each of us can do the same, and change a single mind, we can build a world quite different from the one we have now.
