DOGE v. The Constitution
๐ด UPDATE: April 10, 2025
Supreme Court Orders Trump Regime to Return Wrongfully Deported Maryland Man
The Trump regime claimed it couldn't undo its own mistake. The Supreme Court just said otherwise.
In a powerful rebuke, the Court ordered the Trump administration to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garciaโa Maryland resident and lawful worker who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador in direct violation of a court order. He now sits in a mega-prison, the victim of what multiple judges have called an โegregiousโ and โwholly lawlessโ act.
Letโs be clear: this wasn't a bureaucratic slip-up. This was the weaponization of government power against a man who posed no threat, had no criminal record, and had been granted protection from deportation by law. Trumpโs team simply ignored that protectionโthen argued they werenโt obligated to fix it.
The Supreme Court disagreed. In a rare unsigned order with no dissenting votes, the justices instructed the administration to take concrete steps to bring Abrego Garcia backโand to report on what, if anything, itโs done to correct the situation. As Justice Sotomayor warned, the Trump regimeโs logic would allow them to deport anyoneโeven U.S. citizensโand claim impunity if the courts couldnโt intervene in time.
Key Developments:
The Supreme Court ruled that the administration must โfacilitateโ the release and return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, treating his case as if he had never been deported.
Sources: AP News, Axios, ReutersThe Court also demanded clarity on the orderโs scope to ensure it doesnโt intrude on executive foreign policy powersโwhile reinforcing that the government must act.
Sources: ReutersTrumpโs DOJ had argued it was too late to fix the mistake and claimed foreign policy immunity. Justice Sotomayor called that argument "plainly wrong."
Sources: AP News, ReutersAbrego Garcia had lived legally in the U.S. with a work permit since 2019 and is married to a U.S. citizen with whom he has a disabled child.

๐ Why This Matters:
This case blows the lid off Trump's immigration agenda. Itโs not about law and orderโitโs about raw power. Trumpโs regime tore a man from his family, threw him into a foreign prison, and then shrugged when challenged. If they could get away with this, they could get away with anything. The Court may have stopped this one deportation, but the danger remains: a government that believes due process is optional.
๐จ The Bottom Line:
This wasn't an errorโit was a test of what Trump can get away with. The Court stepped in. But the regimeโs instincts are clear: ignore the law, crush dissent, and dare the system to stop them. How many more will it take before we say: enough?

One bit of good news this morning. Now will they follow through? Are there any consequences if the regime refuses to obey. And what about the planes with several hundred men who had no trial - that a judge ordered to not leave the ground and then turn around and they just ignored it. What kind of monsters have we become that the Supreme Court refused to back that up or step in or whatever?? When youโve empowered people who scoff at all laws what recourse do we have now???? Theyโre threatening Marshall Law and turning our own military against us for rightful, peaceful demonstrations. Will our military honor their oath to safeguard the constitution and the American people? Or will they turn against their own people??What consequences will there be for that?? And how will they be enforced? There are far more of us than them. But they have bombs. What then?? These arenโt new questions. But these are some of the ones on our minds. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
