I’ll try to deal with the followers that way instead of savaging them for having been so stupid and irresponsible as to vote for a proven criminal con artist racist etc etc, but it won’t be easy. For me it may be better to disengage at the beginning.

Totally understandable. Personally, I tend not to engage much with followers myself because I recognize that sympathy is not something that comes easy in the heat of the moment even if logically, when I'm planning how to engage, I understand why a lot of these people find themselves where they are.

So, I typically try to engage more with the acolyte types, because then I can go all in without holding back and make an example out of them.

Also consider joining the indivisible.org to create a unified Solidarity voice of WE the People to support candidates who will be militant against the far right fascist agenda as well as get useful trainings as WE move toward the midterms
