The Fascists are going after NPR and PBS and other information services that provide real, true news. The accusation: not pro-Trump. What happened to free speech?

I believe this is partly an electoral college play (intentionally or otherwise)

https://www.theajp.org/news-insights/insights/local-news-can-keep-government-accountable/ ". . .When local newspapers shutter, communities lose vital information on local government, its leaders, and the actions they take. This opens an information gap that can be exploited by bad actors spreading disinformation, and this spread of disinformation can widen partisan divides. Research also shows that in the absence of local news, government waste increases. . ." https://niemanreports.org/less-local-news-means-less-democracy/

Most of this research has been around local newspapers, but I suspect the effects are similar in smaller public radio markets (often run as small town college radio stations). The NPR and PBS stations in larger markets receive a relatively small share of their budget from the CPB - but for smaller stations, the CPB often supplies a much larger share of the budget.

Geographically larger, less densely populated congressional districts have disproportionate control in the electoral college. Shuttering local newspapers and small market NPR and PBS stations makes it easier for bad actors to propagandize and mis/disinform voters in those districts.

If you contribute to a major market NPR or PBS station and can afford it, consider adopting a station in a smaller market and contributing there, too.

I prefer you build this Manifesto. around your first 3 goals....We will seize control of the conversation.

We will divide their movement and turn them against each other.

We will build a force they can never overcome.

rather than your 3 "pillars." I will leave you with a question. Who is "we". US residents or global citizens or some other grouping?

This is built specifically for the US.

If you want to see my general ideas for governance that apply to any country, you might want to read my USOS Framework, which can be better applied to any governance system:

Please educate yourself about Architecture and Urban Planning by reading the series of books written by Christopher Alexander and published by Oxford University Press. The first in the series is called “The Timeless Way of Building” you can probably finish it in under an hour. I promise you will find incredibly enlightening information in these books and they will help further inform your ideas about housing and development.

Respectfully yours-
