DOGE v. Treasury Department
🔴 UPDATE: March 7, 2025
Federal Judge Denies Emergency Bid to Restrain DOGE’s Access to Treasury Data
A federal judge in Washington, D.C., has denied an emergency effort to block the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing Treasury Department systems containing sensitive financial and personal data. While the court acknowledged "mistakes" made by DOGE, it found no evidence that those errors resulted in data leaks outside the government.
Key Developments:
No Immediate Injunction: The court ruled there was insufficient evidence to justify emergency intervention, though concerns remain over DOGE's competence and transparency.
Acknowledgment of Errors: The judge noted that DOGE has made mistakes in handling Treasury data but found no proof that these missteps led to breaches or unauthorized disclosures.
Limited Oversight and Secrecy: The ruling comes amid growing scrutiny over DOGE’s lack of transparency and Elon Musk’s influence on the department’s operations.
Potential Future Action: The judge left the door open for a future challenge should new evidence of improper data handling or external breaches emerge.
🔍 Why This Matters:
Trust in Treasury Operations at Risk: The mere presence of DOGE in sensitive financial systems raises concerns about data security and financial stability.
A Pattern of Reckless Management? This ruling follows a series of legal challenges regarding DOGE’s secrecy, overreach, and questionable leadership decisions.
Judicial Oversight Will Continue: While the court has ruled against immediate restrictions, the judge signaled that DOGE’s access and actions remain under scrutiny.
🚨 The Bottom Line:
DOGE has been given a temporary pass, but its errors, secrecy, and potential risk to financial security remain a growing concern. The fight over its unchecked power inside the Treasury Department is far from over.

Sounds like not enough research was conducted. Whoever brought this action needs to find more. For instance, does DOGE have the appropriate security level clearance? If not, none of the other evidence matters. It can't be like, "Well, they don't have the proper clearance, but they didn't do any damage." YET!
No leaks my butt!!! I have been getting so much more spam in the last couple weeks in text and email and I am sure it's because DOGE stole our personal info and sold it. I'm sure we'll find out in a few years that that's what happened. You know... When it's way too late. Also, how is it permissible to steal our info just because it wasn't leaked?! Stealing is ok, now??? Wtf.
